Summary: Staff were fantastic. Arrived got a uber from airport from terminal 1 to hotel less than half an hour even in traffic and cost less than £20.When you arrive go through to the short stay car park where staff will guide you to your uber,you will have a code from Uber.Give the code to the staff and this will guide you to your car Arrived at hotel seen immediately no wait.Allowed to check in and start the all inclusive straight away.We were even upgraded to ninth floor. Room lovely two very large single beds pushed together for a double? Plenty of sockets to charge phones etc-they use uk plugs do no adaptors necessary. I am not a foodie but the food in this hotel was my favourite.It’s buffet style.You can book the Asian,Lebanese and Italian restaurant on the Riu app The Riu app is great only works when you are actually in the hotel and you can order things like more towels etc You get a beach towel card which you hand in and get back when you get your beach/pool towels Plenty of loungers by the pools or on beach Italian restaurants Palms very nice chilling lovely food Have a sports bar but you can’t take alcohol in there so you can’t enjoy a drink and watch the game.They also only have one lager and it’s on tap.Drinks are in small glasses so need to go back to bar to refill often. Entertainment team is very enthusiastic. All staff were wonderful.Deira island has lots of building work going on.Dubai warm in day but need a sweater in the night
