Summary: My check-in experience wasn’t the best, my room was not ready and I had to wait almost 2 hours with my kids after we’ve been traveling all day for the room to be ready. We were escorted to the pool area to wait there. We were not even offered water while we waited, I had to keep asking people if they knew when my room would be ready because I wasn’t getting any updates related to my room. My my room was OK and it had an amazing view, I do not like area rugs in rooms. The area rug that was under our beds was dirty and stained. I could tell nobody had vacuumed it. there were hairs in the sink that were not ours housekeeping came around every day, but did the bare minimum I asked for the floor we clean one day after our day because there was sand everywhere from us going to the beach and they would just keep fixing our bed and emptying the trash, but not cleaning the floors. Besides that staff was amazing, everyone was really nice. Julio went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable since day one and throughout our stay the food was very, very good. The only thing I didn’t like was when I went to have dinner or tried to have dinner at Tico Tica, they asked me if I had a reservation, which I did not have yet there were multiple tables empty and they wanted me to wait an hour. That was a downer. I also had a massage done and it was amazing. Overall, I don’t know if I wouldn’t necessarily stay in this hotel again. It was just an ok experience.
